Art of tao labossiere

is the husband and wife team of Tao & Amy LaBossiere. Tao is the master artist and Amy handles the business side. The two collaborate to bring Tao’s artistic vision for his clients to life. Art of Tao creates large-scale public art murals, art commissions in various mediums including sculpture, paintings, and illustration. Tao LaBossiere has been self-employed as a professional artist for more than 25 years and a developing artist his entire life.

Tao LaBossiere is an award-winning muralist, sculptor, and illustrator whose personal mission is to celebrate community through creativity. For more than 20 years, Tao has resided at Hartford ArtSpace working as a professional artist. He is volunteer co-director of the Hartford ArtSpace Gallery and founder of Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC. Tao has a 25-year history of satisfied clients including municipalities, public libraries, schools, restaurants, and private art patrons in the tri-state area. For ten years, he was the lead creative partner and visionary at Still Waters Retreat Center. As a young man, Tao studied at Norwich Free Academy and Lyme Academy, then The Cleveland Institute of Art, and Hartford Art School.

Amy LaBossiere is a writer, multi-disciplinary artist, and artist manager based in Hartford, CT. She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and creative communications. Amy is the former managing partner of Still Waters Retreat Center and advertising account executive with multiple firms in CT and NY. She is volunteer co-director of Hartford ArtSpace Gallery and Managing Director of Art of Tao LaBossiere LLC. Amy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts with a specialization in public relations from Long Island University/CW Post, a Master of Arts in Conscious Evolution from The Graduate Institute, and a certificate in holistic health coaching from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
